ArizonaI know I said that there would be no blog post last week due to the holiday, but I did intend there to be one yesterday. Unfortunately, a huge project caused a little bit of a delay, so my apologies. While I can’t go into details, what I can tell you is that I am working on a training video for a piece of machinery for a company out in Arizona. The short of it is that I was hired last minute to fly out and shoot the video, and I’ve been working on the editing and processing, along with some voiceover/ADR as it was filmed in a factory so the background noise has made the original sound pretty much unusable. The downside to this unexpected trip was that I flew in on a Thursday, shot what the company needed on Friday, and then flew out Saturday morning. I have never been to Arizona before, and I’m not sure I’ll ever get the chance to get out there again. What was nice was that I was not only invited to partake in the company’s annual Christmas luncheon, but we finished up early enough that I was able to head out to Saguaro National Park – West for the rest of the afternoon. Unfortunately, the park…being a National Park, closes at dusk, so I didn’t have an extraordinary amount of time to explore, but if I ever do get the chance, I’ll definitely be going back. If you’re interested on seeing some of the photos I took while I was there, click here. Comments
